American State Street Corporation's Managing Director of the Asia-Pacific Region Visited SWUFE

On March 9th, American State Street corporation’s managing director of its Asia-Pacific region and the director of its innovation lab, Sun Yikai visited our school. Vice President Yin Qingshuang met with the guests in the VIP Hall in TengXiang building, directors of the school of finance and OIEC attended the meeting.

Yin Qingshuang said that after the meeting between President Zhang Zongyi and the Vice Executive President Ian Martin of State Street, the cooperation between the two sides developed rapidly. SWUFE will fully promote the construction of joint scientific research institutions among SWUFE, State Street and University of California Berkeley. We hope that this institution will perform as a platform to develop the research in the financial science and technology and to accelerate the transform from science to productivity.

Sun Yikai said State Street has always attached great importance to academic cooperation with universities. With the rise of financial technology, State Street is committed to creating a platform to gather excellent universities and famous enterprises and to transform financial science to productivity. He believed the financial industry background and the advantage of finance discipline of SWUFE will create great academic value and commercial value.

At present, the corporation has kept $26 trillion and 900 billion for global investors and managed assets of $2 trillion and 290 billion.
