Delegation of Neapolis University Pafos visited SWUFE

A delegation from Neapolis University Pafos (NUP), headed by President Pantelis Sklias, visited the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) on October 23rd. SWUFE President Li Yongqiang met with the guests in the VIP Hall of the Tengxiang Building. The meeting was also attended by heads of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, the School of Finance, and the School of Accounting.

During the meeting, Li Yongqiang extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced SWUFE's initiatives in international exchange and cooperation. He underscored that the university places high importance on international exchange and cooperation, actively responds to the "Belt and Road" Initiative, and considers "deep development" as one of SWUFE's four core development strategies. At present, the university's international exchange and cooperation efforts are experiencing a rapid phase of recovery and expansion, leading to greater openness at SWUFE. He conveyed his hope of leveraging the visit to enhance mutual understanding, promote practical cooperation, yield fruitful results, and transform exploratory cooperation into win-win outcomes.

Pantelis Sklias expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome. He stated that cooperation with SWUFE is a vital component of NUP's internationalization strategy. Situated in Paphos, a regional center for finance and accounting services, NUP boasts abundant resources in business education. He eagerly anticipated exploring cooperation opportunities with SWUFE in areas such as talent cultivation and scientific research.

Established in 2010, NUP has ranked among the top five universities in Cyprus for consecutive years. The university is a member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE). All of its programs are recognized by EU countries, with its finance and accounting programs accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and its master's program in real estate accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
