Introduction to the speaker:
CHEN Xi is a producer of the public channel in Chengdu Radio and TV Station. In November 2005, he started to work for the public channel. From January 2006 to December 2016, he worked as a front linereporter of the news department, engaging in news gathering and editing. The news work "Rare Rainstorm Attacks Longchang, Military and Civilian Concerted to Fight Flood" won the third prize of Chengdu News Award and Chengdu Radio and Television Municipal Government Award in 2007. “Joys and Sorrows in Lighting Kong Ming Lantern" and "Mysterious Telephone Tip-off: Chengdu Metro is coming" were awarded the 2009 Chengdu Radio and Television Program Nomination Award. “20 Couples Perform Bows inBeichuan” won the 2009 Chengdu Radio and Television Program Award for Excellent Television News. ”Who is Responsible for People Hurt by the Roadside Well?” won the third prize of Chengdu News Award and Chengdu Radio and Television Program Award for Excellent Television News in 2013.“Blue Clothes Brotherin Pengzhou CaughtRobbers” and "Golden Brother Wants to Find a Job” won the third prize of Chengdu News Award in 2016.
Media convergence is a new media which makes full use of media carriers and integrates different media, such as radio, television and newspapers, which have common points and complementary features, in terms of human resources, content and publicity, so as to realize resource, content, publicity and benefit accommodation. Simply put, traditional radio& television media and network mediacoexists, considersand relies on each other. Today's journalists can't get rid of the concept of media convergence. In the context of media convergence, it is of vital importance for a journalist to be a narrator of an era. The core is people. In order to talk about the characteristics of the times, first of all, we must have the basic skills of journalists, that is, interview and edit. In the context of mediaconvergence, journalists should be complex reporters who learn to use advanced technology to enhance the effectiveness of the program.
