Recruitment Procedure


Step 1

Each school should email the invitees' materials to liuping@swufe.edu.cn, including a cover letter to the International Office (indicating who the invitee is, whether he or she will bring their family, how long the employment is and when he or she will arrive in China), CV (both in Chinese and English), Copy of health certificate, a copy of the first page of the visa (for the invitees and their accompanying family members), a copy of the diploma, recommendation letters and a certificate photo. When verified, all the materials in print (photos unnecessary), together with a copy of the signed contract, shall be handed in to Room 102A in the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.

The International Office applies for the work permit online based on all the materials and sends them to Chengdu Foreign Experts Bureau and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Sichuan People's Government to apply for the Foreign Experts Work Permit and the Invitation Letter from Authorized Institutions.

The International Office mails the approved materials to the invitees through each relevant school so that they can apply for Chinese working visa.

The International Office applies for the foreign expert certificate online based on all the materials and sends them to Chengdu Foreign Experts Bureau and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Sichuan People's Government to apply for the Foreign Experts Certificate.

The invitees should go through a physical checkin at the Sichuan International Travel Healthcare Center (address: No. 1 Tongzilin Road North, Chengdu City) upon their arrival in Chengdu.

Each school hands in the invitees' health certificate, Accommodation Registration Form for Aliens issued by the local police station, original degree certificate, copy of contract, passport and a passport picture to the International Office for the Foreign Expert Certificate within 15 days after the invitees' entry. If their spouse and/or children are coming along, a marriage certificate and/or children's birth certificate are also needed. (NOTICE: The relevant certification issued by overseas organizations shall be authenticated by Embassies or Consulates of the People's Republic of China and shall have Chinese version with seal of Chinese Translation Corporation).

On receiving the Foreign Expert Certificate, the invitees (and their families, if there are any) should go to the Exit Entry Administration Bureau of the Chengdu Public Security Bureau and apply for residence permit with required materials, including situation report and contract card (provided by OIEC), their passport, application form with 2-inch ID photo. Application form with 2-inch ID photo on the Foreign Expert Certificate, Accommodation Registration Form for Aliens health certificate, marriage certificate and children's birth certificate (verified by the Chinese embassy abroad), if there is any family member to come along. And that should be done within 30 days after entry.
