Program 1: 2026 SWUFE Global Academy – Economy and Culture of Chengdu and Chongqing

1.Program Overview
The SWUFE Global Academy, hosted by Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), is an esteemed international summer academic program designed to foster global education and cultural exchange. As one of the flagship programs under SGA , ‘ChengDu Pioneers’ has been successfully conducted for 7 years with the theme "Economy and Culture of Sichuan and Chongqing" .
It is an immersive program with a variety of exciting lectures, traditional culture classes, visits to famous sites and activities featuring both traditional and modern culture in Chengdu and Chongqing. It is a golden opportunity to explore Chengdu, one of China’s most rapidly changing cities with abundant cultural heritage and a wonderful experience with your fellow SWUFE students, a group of vigorous and intelligent young people.

Program 2: Cross-Cultural Communication under the "Belt and Road Initiative"

1.Program Overview
The 2026 SWUFE Global Academy (SGA) —— The “Belt and Road” Intercultural Communication Academic Camp / PANDA PANDA will offer a unique opportunity to experience SWUFE and China. It is one of the signature events in the university calendar, during this unique experience we offer you an authentic taste of modern life in China, a chance to learn more about Chengdu city, to foster a better understanding of business innovation and entrepreneurship and giving you a short but wonderful experience at Chengdu city.
We will offer 2 credits course, by experiencing full time study with SWUFE students and all kinds of student activities. And also with cultural activities, visits and sightseeing. Visiting panda base, learning how to cook SICHUAN cuisine, deeply experiencing lifestyle of CHENGDU, and the first time ever to try authentic hop pot, will all be contained in this fantastic program.

Cross-Cultural Communication under the "Belt and Road Initiative" Brochure
Program 3: 2026 SWUFE Global Academy: Where Fintech Meets the Global Economy

1.Program Overview
The FinTech and Digital Economy Innovation Summer Camp, themed “Integrating FinTech, Experiencing China’s Development,” combining professional learning, cultural immersion, and hands-on practice. Leveraging the college’s expertise and resources in FinTech, the camp delivers lectures and workshops in finance, technology, and application, supported by platforms such as the International Joint FinTech Lab. Alongside academic content, the camp emphasizes cultural engagement, including touring Kuanzhai Alley, the Panda Base, and Chengdu Museum, along with introductory Chinese and tea ceremony sessions, allow overseas students to deeply experience Chinese culture. Guided by both academic and industry experts, the camp integrates theory, practice, and culture—telling China’s fintech story, showcasing the university’s openness, and providing students an immersive journey to understand China and connect with the future.

Program 4: The Belt and Road Youth Academic Camp: Social Governance and Community Practice

1.Program Overview
The Belt and Road Youth Academic Camp, themed "Social Work and Social Governance in China", will launch a 11-day international exchange program in Chengdu in early July. Open to international students from global universities, the program features three immersive modules: Chinese higher education experience, cultural landmark visits, and field trips to leading enterprises, NGOs and communities. By integrating academic seminars with on-site research, this initiative aims to facilitate the sharing of insights and experiences among students from diverse cultural backgrounds on social governance innovation, fostering mutual understanding and friendship among future young leaders.
