During the meeting, Li Zhisheng extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced SWUFE's history, educational characteristics, international exchange and cooperation efforts, as well as the "New Finance and Economics" strategy. Li Zhisheng stressed that the Sino-Italian collaboration within the "Belt and Road" Initiative is a correct option made by both countries based on their historical and cultural connections and practical development needs. He underscored SWUFE's high emphasis on cooperation with Italian universities and institutions.
