On June 24th, the 1st Council and Forum of Industry-Education Integration Alliance For New Financial Talents, co-sponsored by China Construction Bank (CCB), SWUFE and other institutions, was held in Shanghai. Nearly 500 people from relevant state departments, well-known universities inside and outside the mainland, financial institutions, social organizations, innovative enterprises and industry experts gathered to discuss the integration of industry and education. ZHUO Zhi, President and Vice Chairman of the University Council, and head of CCB School of SWUFE attended the meeting.
On the morning of the 24th, the 1st Council of Industry-Education Integration Alliance For New Financial Talents was held. 64 governing units and 6 observer units joined in the meeting. President ZHUO Zhi attended the meeting and delivered a speech. CCB was elected as the director unit of the first Alliance. At the meeting, a signing ceremony was held for the industry-education integration big data laboratory cooperation project of China Construction Bank University (CCBU). FU Daiguo, Executive Vice President of CCB School of SWUFE, signed a contract on behalf of SWUFE. Four projects of SWUFE stood out in the first batch of demonstration projects. All the governing units also issued a joint declaration and launched the “2019-2021 Shanghai Action Plan” to contribute to the “Alliance Plan” for exploring the cultivation of new financial talents. Before the meeting, the delegates visited the exhibition area of industry-education integration and big data of CCB.
On the afternoon of the 24th, the Forum of Industry-Education Integration Alliance For New Financial Talents was held at the Shanghai International Convention Center. WU Qing, deputy mayor of Shanghai, made a speech. TIAN Guoli, chairman and secretary of the Party Council of CCB, OU Xiaoli, director of the Social Development Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, CHEN Feng, director of the National Center for Schooling Development Programme, Prof. XU Ningsheng, president of Fudan University, WANG Chuanfu, chairman and president of BYD Company Limited, Prof. Thomas Sargent, the winner of the Nobel Economics Prize, ZONG Guoying, executive vice governor of Yunnan Province and the Standing Committee member of Provincial Party Committee, Prof. ZHUO Zhi, president of SWUFE, as well as other leaders, experts and scholars delivered speeches. The opening ceremony of the industry-education integration big data laboratory, of the industry-education integration practical base, of the finance-technology joint innovative laboratory, and of the AI-big data joint laboratory of CCBU, and the launch of 10,000 CCBU students’ practice into the countryside in the summer were held in the forum.
The Industry-Education Integration Alliance For New Financial Talents was established on December 17th, 2018. It was co-initiated by CCB together with a number of famous universities inside and outside the mainland including SWUFE, financial institutions, social organizations, innovative enterprises. The Alliance aims to promote the organized connection between the education chain, the talent chain and the industry chain, the innovation chain so as to form a new pattern of mutual harmony of banks, politics, universities and enterprises. On September 13th last year, SWUFE held the signing and unveiling ceremony on cooperative running of the school with CCB, to jointly establish the Southwestern School of CCB University (CCB School of SWUFE), developing in-depth cooperation in the fields of financial talent training, student joint training, industry-education-research collaborative innovation, high-end think tank construction, etc. (President's Office & CCB School of SWUFE)
