On July 15th, WANG Zhongying, Chairman of the University Council of Hong Kong Financial Services Institute, ZHANG Xiaoshu, Chancellor of Hong Kong Financial Services Institute and another guest visited SWUFE. ZHUO Zhi, the President and Vice Chairman of the University Council met the visitors at the VIP room of Tengxiang Building. The relevant directors of School of Finance as well as Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office attended the conference.
ZHUO Zhi extended his warm welcome to the guests from Hong Kong Financial Services Institute and gave a brief introduction about the history, subject characteristics and talents cultivation of SWUFE. He said that SWUFE is deepening the construction of “Double First Class” Initiative, and playing a leading role in the development of “new finance and economy”. He wished this conference can consolidate the cooperation between the two sides and strengthen the cooperation and exchange in the talents training, high-end talents introduction as well as degree education.
WANG Zhongying expressed her thanks to the hospitality of SWUFE, and gave a brief introduction of the holistic development and achievements of Hong Kong Financial Services Institute. She said that upholding the objective of “putting education first and making people its priority” in running the school, Hong Kong Financial Services Institute will proactively pursue its progress with the development strategies of our country. Hong Kong Financial Services Institute is located in Hong Kong and have advantages in platforms and resources. SWUFE is one of the top universities in China, and the cooperation prospect of the two universities is promising.
In the conference, the representatives of the two universities had profound exchange and discussion on the direction and model of future cooperation.
