On July 22nd, WEN Xueyu, Chairman of Party Committee of Sichuan Branch of Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) and President, LI Ping, Party Committee member of Sichuan Branch of ABC and Vice President, along with other five colleagues visited SWUFE. ZHAO Deiwu, Chairman of the University Council, ZHUO Zhi, President and Vice Chairman of the University Council, and MA Xiao, Vice Chairman of the University Council, met guests at the VIP room of Tengxiang Building. Representatives of President’s Office, Development Planning Office, Office of Financial Affairs, Alumni Office, and Logistic Service Company of SWUFE attended the meeting.
ZHAO Dewu expressed warm welcome for WEN’s visit, and gave a brief introduction to the history, present situations and development strategy of SWUFE. ZHAO said that SWUFE had been cooperating with Sichuan Branch of ABC for more than 20 years in various fields. He hoped that in the new age, both sides could continue to strengthen existing partnership, deepen cooperation and exchanges in the future, broaden collaborating fields and move into the next level.
ZHUO Zhi introduced a series of recent achievements of SWUFE in promoting the construction of "Double First-class" and leading the development of "new finance and economics". He hoped that in the future, on the basis of the existing cooperation, both sides could seek a higher level strategic fit point with forward thinking to carry out cooperation, complete and upgrade the transformation together, with mutual benefits and progress.
WEN Xuezhi conveyed his thanks for the hospitality of SWUFE. He outlined the basic situation of ABC and briefed the long history with SWUFE. He said that the ABC is at a critical point of digital transformation, and future cooperation with SWUFE needs to be greatly enhanced. In days to come, new cooperation in financial science and technology, staff training, and the project of "countryside, agriculture, and farmers" are most welcomed.
