To further promote the nation-wide fitness campaign, raise students’ awareness of fitness, stimulate students’ enthusiasm to play basketball and improve basketball skills, the “Guanghua Cup” Basketball Games of SWUFE were held in Chenxi basketball Courts and Zhaohui basketball courts of Liulin Campus from April 12th to April 25th, 2021.
The games took each school as a participating unit, which consists of male and female teams. The games adopted the rules of "Five-person Basketball" and set up a special "Fun Basketball" challenge. There were 32 teams from 17 colleges with the number of players topping 400. After fierce competition, the School of Insurance and the School of General Education won the champion of the men's and women's games respectively.
All the players played hard and dared to make breakthroughs, showing vigor and vitality. These games helped the students enjoy themselves through physical exercise, enhance their physique, improve their characters and exercise their will. In addition, the games stimulated the enthusiasm of students to play basketball, promoted the fitness of students, enriched the campus sports cultural activities and promoted the all-round development of students.
