SWUFE Welcomes and Greets New Students

Over 7,000 new students from across the country and the globe arrived at SWUFE and moved in from September 7 to September 9, 2021. A newly-renovated campus, first-class facilities, and robust registration procedures were in place to show welcome and care for incoming students.

SWUFE has given top priority to the registration process with the current conditions of epidemic prevention and control and has deployed relevant personnel and resources to ensure a smooth arrival of new students.

The university staff and student volunteers worked around the clock to ensure the safety of the registration process and to provide outstanding service. Students and their parents could be assured that a safe and stable campus were ready for them despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Zhao Dewu, Party Secretary of SWUFE, Zhuo Zhi, president of SWUFE, and heads of different offices and schools came to the registration area and greeted new SWUFERs. The university leadership extended care and blessings to the newcomers and encouraged them to make a difference in college. SWUFE would ensure that they would get due support and assistance whenever they need it.

Below are some moments captured during the arrival days of the new students:

Dressed in the stuffy protective suit and standing under the scorching sun, medical workers were busy carrying out Nucleic Acid Tests, disinfecting the luggage, and providing facial masks.

Volunteers were active in providing supplies and carrying luggage for freshmen.

A fleet of golf carts have been traveling across the campus, escorting students to their dormitories.

Staff from SWUFE’s Logistics Service Company provided milk, bread, and bottled water for those who were waiting for the result of nucleic acid tests.

Full of hope, new SWUFERs are starting a new chapter in their lives.
