On October 24-25, the university's 2024 Fall Sports Meeting was held at the Liulin Campus, themed "Celebrating the New Era, Striving for New Journeys, Welcoming the Centennial Celebration, and Creating Brilliance for Southwestern Finance."
The event kicked off at 8:30 AM on October 24 at the Chenxi Sports Field. This year's sports meeting featured 40 competition events, including athletics, tennis, table tennis, badminton, billiards, orienteering, rainbow runs, collective rope skipping, tug-of-war, and sit-ups, with participation exceeding 20,000 entries. The sports carnival offered a continuous stream of exciting activities.
On the track, athletes poured sweat into their performances, striving to chase their dreams. In the stands, cheers echoed as supporters rallied together to share in the glory. This year, alumni representative teams made their debut, reuniting in the golden autumn to showcase their skills and share in the excitement of sports as they welcomed the centennial celebration.
All faculty and students actively participated in sports with enthusiasm and vigor, striving to surpass themselves and enjoy the competition, collectively creating a vibrant scene on the sports field.
