On November 20, Bruce Weber, Dean of the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York (CUNY), and a member of the President's Cabinet, visited Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE). Vice President Li Zhisheng, hosted the delegation at the VIP Hall of Tengxiang Building.
Vice President Li warmly welcomed the delegation and highlighted SWUFE’s recent advancements in academic development, talent cultivation, and international cooperation. He emphasized SWUFE’s commitment to the "New Finance" strategy, driving high-quality growth and promoting its "Deep Opening-Up" strategy to elevate international partnerships. Li recognized Baruch College as a vital partner in SWUFE’s global strategy, citing the remarkable success of their joint accounting program over the past decade. He expressed hope for expanded collaboration in areas such as faculty exchanges, doctoral training, artificial intelligence courses, and enhanced academic and talent development initiatives.
