On April 18, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) and Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. held a cooperation agreement signing ceremony at the Tencent Cloud Chengdu Summit.
Under the agreement, both parties will leverage SWUFE’s financial discipline strengths and Tencent Cloud’s technological expertise in cloud computing, big data analysis, and AI development platforms to jointly advance three major innovation projects: the establishment of a cutting-edge research platform for financial security and anti-fraud, the creation of a financial security and anti-fraud laboratory, and the formation of an anti-fraud cooperation alliance.
The collaboration will address security challenges posed by emerging financial services such as digital payments and supply chain finance, focusing on developing financial risk monitoring models, intelligent anti-fraud algorithms, and other key technologies, with the goal of producing scientific research results with independent intellectual property rights. The partnership will focus on advanced fields like blockchain data security sharing platforms, AI-driven anti-fraud monitoring systems, and cross-platform risk prevention mechanisms, aiming to deeply integrate technology research and application scenarios.
The initiative will also involve a wide range of stakeholders, including domestic and international financial institutions, research institutes, and technology enterprises, to build a comprehensive collaboration network across the entire "technology development—standard setting—achievement transformation" chain. The collaboration aims to promote the synergistic development of academic research, technological innovation, and industry practices, contributing to the creation of a standardized and secure financial ecosystem. This effort will play a vital role in enhancing the security level of China’s financial industry and supporting the improvement of the global financial governance system.
