On May 4, the founding ceremony of the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) Australia Alumni Association was held in Melbourne. As the university’s first alumni association in the Southern Hemisphere, it marks the expansion of SWUFE’s global alumni network into Oceania.
The Australia Alumni Association is the eighth overseas alumni chapter established by SWUFE. It aims to unite alumni in Australia, uphold the university’s spirit of "To persistently strive for the benefit of people and society," and support the university’s progress under the World-Class Project and its broader internationalization goals. Looking ahead, the association will focus on resource integration, actively supporting the career and life needs of alumni in Australia, and promoting China-Australia cooperation in education, trade, and culture to further enhance bilateral ties.
