On December 19th, the 3rd Annual Conference of Alliance for Economics and Management Education and the seminar on "Shaping Future Leaders: Empowering Talent for Global Governance through Education Cooperation" were held at Liulin Campus, SWUFE. Leaders and guests from 40 universities and enterprises in China and abroad, as well as experts and scholars, gathered at SWUFE to jointly explore new paths for transforming financial education and cultivating global governance talents in the era of digital intelligence.
Chairman Zhao Jianjun delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, extending a warm welcome to all the guests present. Ma Haitao, Executive Chairman of the alliance and President of Central University of Finance and Economics, delivered a speech and gave a keynote address titled "The 'AI+ Finance' Solution of Central University of Finance and Economics: Cultivating Global Governance Leaders." President Li Yongqiang delivered a keynote speech titled "Global Governance Talent Cultivation in the Digital Intelligence Era: Paradigm Transformation and Path Exploration."
Leaders from Zhejiang Gongshang University, Jilin University of Finance and Economics, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and University of International Business and Economics, respectively delivered wonderful keynote speeches on the high-quality development of finance and economics universities, deepening international cooperation, interdisciplinary integration, and industry-education integration, as well as education through the alliance’s collective efforts. Guests from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, Hebei University of Finance and Economics, Macau University of Science and Technology, National Institute of Management (Myanmar), and the University of Pernambuco (Brazil), shared forward-looking thoughts and valuable experiences on international exchanges and cooperation in education and the cultivation of global governance talents. Vice President Li Zhisheng, and Shi Jinfang, the Vice President of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, presided over the opening ceremony and the keynote forum.
The seminar set up two parallel forums: "Building an International Platform to Deepen the Cultivation of Global Governance Talents" and "Reshaping New Paths for the Cultivation of Global Governance Talents through Interdisciplinary Integration." Experts and representatives attending the forums engaged in lively discussions.
The 3rd Annual Conference represents a dynamic initiative by finance and economics universities to actively support the national endeavor of building a great modern country. It reflects a broad consensus on transforming finance and economics education in the digital and intelligent era, while also offering a "Chinese approach" to nurturing global governance talent. In doing so, it continues to contribute "finance and economics strength" to the advancement of a community with a shared future for mankind.
