On February 28, a signing ceremony for a cooperative education agreement between SWUFE and MBS School of Business was held at Liulin Campus. Eric LE DELEY, the Director General of MBS School of Business, Anis CHARFI, the Associate Director of MBS School of Business, President Li Yongqiang, and Vice President Li Zhisheng attended the ceremony.
President Li Yongqiang extended a warm welcome to Eric LE DELEY and his delegation. He introduced SWUFE’s century-long history, our advancements in the disciplines of “New Finance and Economics,” and our international exchanges and collaborations. He noted that this year marks the 62nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, as well as the 45th anniversary of the sister-city relationship between Chengdu and Montpellier. He emphasized that the signing of this cooperative education agreement reflects the fruitful collaboration in China-French educational cooperation and represents the convergence of the rich histories and academic philosophies of two century-old institutions. He expressed hope that both sides would work together to create a benchmark for China-French cooperative education projects and promote deeper exchanges in education, culture, and research.
Eric LE DELEY expressed gratitude for the warm reception and highlighted the century-long heritage and international resources of MBS School of Business. He praised SWUFE’s outstanding reputation and noted that since the partnership began in 2017, both institutions have continuously upgraded their mutually beneficial cooperation based on a shared pursuit of academic excellence. He reiterated MBS’s commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership with SWUFE to jointly cultivate internationally minded financial and economic talents.
Following their remarks, Li Yongqiang and Eric LE DELEY signed the cooperative education agreement on behalf of SWUFE and MBS School of Business.
Representatives from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and the SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science at SWUFE also attended the ceremony.
