According to the latest data released by Clarivate’s Essential Science Indicators (ESI) on May 14, SWUFE’s Economics & Business discipline has continued to advance after entering the top 1‰ globally. It now ranks 33rd worldwide and first in China, marking a new milestone in the university’s disciplinary competitiveness and global impact.
Over the years, SWUFE has remained committed to the vision of building a world-class university with distinctive strengths in finance and economics. By advancing the "New Finance and Economics" initiative and implementing its five-pronged disciplinary development plan, the university has continuously optimized its academic structure, promoted digital and intelligent transformation, and fostered a dynamic, integrated disciplinary ecosystem that meets the needs of national development.
In addition, SWUFE’s Psychiatry/Psychology discipline has entered the ESI top 1% for the first time. To date, SWUFE has one ESI top 1‰ discipline and six ESI top 1% disciplines.
