
On May 18, Professor David Hillier, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Strathclyde, led a delegation to visit SWUFE. President Li Yongqiang and Vice President Li Zhisheng met with the delegation.
Li Yongqiang emphasized the strong foundation and broad potential for collaboration between the two universities, particularly in finance, business education, financial technology, and international programs, expressing hope for accelerated progress in joint programs, expanded cooperation in research and innovation, joint doctoral training, exchanges, and industry partnerships.
Hillier reaffirmed Strathclyde’s commitment to SWUFE as a key strategic partner and looked forward to building long-term relationships to nurture globally-minded and innovative talent.
During the meeting, the two sides held in-depth discussions on advancing their joint education programs. Representatives from relevant SWUFE departments also attended the meeting.
