On the evening of May 26, SWUFE held its 15th National Scholarship and Campus Scholarship Award Ceremony at the Liulin Campus Student Activity Center. Chairman Zhao Jianjun and President Li Yongqiang attended the event, and over 800 faculty and student representatives participated in the ceremony.
The ceremony opened with a poetic recital titled The Answer of Youth, and was structured around four themes. The eight award-winning representatives took the stage as role models, presenting The Times with a youthful answer sheet titled "SWUFE makes a difference in building a strong country."
They are:

Tan Shixiao — National Scholarship recipient driven by the spirit of sports
Lan Tingxu — Pursuing economic ideals inspired by academic masters
Chen Xuan’ang — Committed to promoting reading
Cao Xuemei — Exploring answers to modern FinTech questions
Zhang Jiaxin — Persevering in self-improvement and chasing dreams
Aikede Aisikaer — Building ethnic unity through youth action
Su Zhuo’en — Empowering education in western China
SWUFE continues to advance its moral education framework, with a four-tier scholarship system (national, provincial, university, and donor-funded). In the 2024–2025 academic year, the university awarded 33 types of scholarships and honors, benefiting 31,466 students. Among them, 461 students received the National Scholarship, including 253 undergraduates, 169 master’s students, and 39 doctoral candidates.
The ceremony has become a signature university event, aiming to inspire students in the new era to set ambitious goals, rise to contemporary challenges, and contribute to China’s modernization with confidence, capability, and SWUFE spirit.
University leaders Ming Haifeng and Li Zhisheng, former leader Ding Renzhong, alumnus and corporate representative Zeng Yongjiang, as well as heads of functional departments and colleges (research institutes), attended the ceremony.
